Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2024

The following policy outlines issues of privacy as they pertain to your use of this website.

Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text that download to a device when a visitor accesses a website or app.

You can opt-out of any non-essential cookies using the cookies banner at the bottom of the website.

These are the necessary and required cookies, which allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely serve this website to you.

If you enable them in the cookies banner, these are the non-essential analytics and performance cookies used on this website, to view site traffic, user activity, and other data.

Analytics

We also use Squarespace Analytics to learn how people use this website so that we can improve it to better serve users. If you enable “analytics” cookies in the cookies banner at the bottom of the website, Squarespace collects and shows us personal data such as your browser, your device, web pages you visited prior to coming to this website, and pages visited on this website. We have disabled the option to see your IP addresses—and whenever possible will minimize the personal data collected to only what is essential for our needs.

Forms

When you submit information via the forms on this website (e.g., our liability waiver or apprenticeship application), we collect the data requested in the webform in order to track and respond to your submissions. We share this information with Squarespace, so that they can provide website services to us.

Mailing List

If you subscribe to the mailing list, you can unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of any email. I use Mailchimp as my email marketing provider, and must share your contact information with them so they can send you emails on my behalf.
