CORE FACULTY

Michael is a master teacher whose career spans 40 years providing psycho-spiritual coaching in both personal and corporate settings. He was one of A.H. Almaas’ (Ridhwan School) early students and one of the first students asked to teach the Diamond Approach. His psycho-spiritual school supported students in the US, Canada, Europe and Central America. His early seminal work on the inner critic is credited in the book Soul Without Shame written by Byron Brown (Shambala Publications, 1989).

He held several corporate roles incorporating psycho-spiritual understanding to enhance leadership, team effectiveness, productivity and employee engagement. He has designed and delivered programs on the Enneagram to Boeing, Microsoft, Intel, and a host of companies. As a certified Systems Thinking practitioner, he was able to add the self-awareness aspects of this discipline to his consultancy.

At the young age of 78, his greatest adventures are spiritual ones, being blessed with a consciousness that is expansive, constantly surprising and revelatory. As Alison’s husband, he is her greatest spiritual and personal companion. Together, they share a love that is beyond anything they have experienced. They are excited to share this love with the world.

GUEST SPEAKER

Kira is a registered clinical counsellor with a master’s of education in counselling psychology and a certified kundalini yoga instructor. Since 2007, she has been in full-time private practice, guiding individuals, couples, and groups in exploring both the personal and transpersonal realms. With nearly two decades of experience, Kira has specialized training in Jungian dream-work, gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, bio-energetics, shamanic practices, expressive art therapy, trauma healing, and somatic body-work. She is also trained in EMDR therapy and completed Levels 1 and 2 of Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy through the Alder Institute in Toronto, Canada.

Kira's work has been profoundly influenced by the "fourth way" teachings of the Enneagram and Diamond Heart models. These frameworks utilize all three centers of intelligence—instinctual, emotional, and mental—to facilitate a deeper understanding of our place in the universe and to realize our true potential as human beings. Her Enneagram and Diamond Heart teachers include Don Riso and Russ Hudson from the Enneagram Institute, as well as Sandra Maitri and Michael Torresan from the Ridhwan School.

Kira is currently exploring the connection between the Enneagram archetypes, IFS, and Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. This integration seeks to illuminate how understanding our inner archetypes can enrich our personal narratives and empower us on our transformative paths of self-discovery. Her clients experience a profound depth of presence and compassion when working with her, fostering authentic connections that honor their journeys.

Alison met Kira when she began her spiritual search, 20 years ago. She has been an incredible mentor and teacher on her path.
